Dr. (Brigadier) R.K. Singh joined Pacific Medical College and Hospital, Udaipur as one of the founder faculty member on 01 Aug 2013. He had a distinguished academic carrier as a student, graduated from the state’s premier institute SMS Medical College, Jaipur and thereafter was commissioned in the Indian Army in 1978 through National level competitive examination. He did his MD Anaesthesiology in 1984 from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, one of the country’s top five Medical Colleges for decades. He has 35 years of experience as Anaesthesiologist and 18 years in administration.

During his 35 years of meritorious service in the Armed Forces Medical Services he has commanded a multi-speciality 499 bedded military hospital at Jodhpur (Rajasthan), has been deputy commandant & dean academics at an 860 bed super speciality post graduate teaching hospital and affiliated post graduate Nursing College at Kolkata and headed the department of Anaesthesiology, Pain Management & Critical Care at Command Hospitals Kolkata & Udhampur.He was awarded “Sena Medal” by the President of India for distinguished service of exceptionally high order in the face of enemy during the “Kargil War” and Commendation by the Western Army Commander in 2000 & 1999 respectively.
Dr. R.K. Singh is a life member of Indian Society of Anaesthesiology & Research Society of Clinical Pharmacology & Anaesthesiology, has published more than 10 papers in International & National journals. He has attended Vth International Military Medicine Conference at Yokosuka, Japan and ISA National Conference on six occasions.
